&#039;&#039;&#039;Ian Timis&#039;&#039;&#039; (born April 12, 1981, in Băile-Borșa, Romania) is a Romanian-Australian business executive, producer, and strategic advisor with over 25 years of international experience in the natural resources sector. He is the founder and Managing Director of Eco Future Metals, a private equity and advisory firm focused on investments in critical minerals, energy transition platforms, and sustainable infrastructure.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Timis has held senior roles in Africa, Europe, North America, and the Middle East, managing full-cycle resource development—from exploration and permitting to financing, construction, production, public listing, and strategic exit. His career includes the structuring of over US$4 billion in cross-border transactions.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Notably, he played a key role in the US$2.4 billion acquisition of European Goldfields by Eldorado Gold, and later structured a US$750 million capital raise and dual listing for African Petroleum. He has advised governments, institutional investors, and private equity funds on ESG transformation, sovereign negotiations, and strategic capital deployment.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Timis holds a BA (Hons) in Business Management from the University of Westminster. He also completed advanced studies in Financial Modelling at London Business School, Petroleum Economics and International Contracts via PetroSkills, and holds a Level 3 Certification in Securities from the Chartered Institute for Securities &amp;amp; Investment (CISI).&lt;br /&gt;
