Andrea-Rachel Parker graduated from [[Brooklyn High School of the Arts|Brooklyn High School Of The Arts]] one year early as a dance major. She then went on to attend [[Lincoln University (Pennsylvania)|Lincoln University]] in [[Pennsylvania]] first as a Science major but then switched to Communications and left her Junior year to complete her degree at another institution.

Andrea-Rachel Parker had her breakout roles on [[HBO|HBO's]] The Deuce as Bernice and [[Starz]] in 2017 as recurring role of Destiny in Power where she plays the first love interest to Tariq St. Patrick played by actor Michael Rainey Jr. alongside actress [[Naturi Naughton]] who plays Tasha St. Patrick and [[Omari Hardwick]] who plays James St. Patrick. Her character Destiny works with Kanan played by [[50 Cent]] in his crew and accidentally assists her corrupt cop cousin Ray-Ray played by Marcus Callander (who is on the same team) murder the ''"St. Patricks"'' daughter. This act alone caused a consumer frenzy and instantly made her a prominent character villain. Ms. Parkers first taste of notoriety was in the controversial [[Mylan Laboratories|Mylan #faceyourrisk]] commercial in 2016 where a young girl has a bad reaction to peanuts in a brownie due to another young girls absent mindedness while making the recipe. Following a consumer uproar of the [[Epi-pen|Epi-Pen]] price increase, consumers highlighted the scare tactics associated with the commercial and inconsideration of Ms. Parker's character. Andrea can also be found playing as "Aminah Butters" on [[NBC|NBC's]] [[Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (season 7)|Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Transgender Bridge (2015)]] as a possible witness to a murder of a trans youth.

Her film roles include "72 Hours: A Brooklyn Love Story?"
