Resad Ajim (born 19 April 2008) is an Indian actor, entrepreneur, producer, and director from Malda, West Bengal, India. He is known for his work in Bengali-language films, independent digital entertainment projects, and technology-driven business ventures. Ajim gained recognition after appearing in films such as Khadaan (2024) and Kaliachak: Chapter 1 (2024).[1]

Apart from acting, Ajim is the founder and chief executive officer of Tronexa Industries Limited, a multi-sector organization focused on digital platforms, media, fintech-oriented systems, software services, and artificial intelligence projects.[2]

Ajim has also been associated with upcoming entertainment projects including The Dream: Love & War, The Alone Boy, Butterfly: The Beauty Angel, and Tere Ishq Main Ranjha, developed under Tronexa Productions and RST Productions.[3]

Early life and education

Resad Ajim was born on 19 April 2008 in Malda district, West Bengal, India, to businessman Kabir Sekh and Arman Khatun. He is the only child of his parents.

Ajim completed his early education at M.H.N Raihan Academy, where he studied from Class 1 to Class 3. He later attended Mahabatpur Agrani Mission from Class 4 to Class 7 and subsequently studied at Vidyasagar Vidyapeeth from Class 8 to Class 10. He later joined O2 Public School (H.S), where he pursued higher secondary education in the science stream.

Alongside academics, Ajim developed an interest in acting, filmmaking, digital media, entrepreneurship, and technology-related projects. His first camera appearance reportedly took place during the Mr. Miss Malda stage event.

Ajim is multilingual and is known to speak Hindi, Bengali, English, Urdu, Arabic, Bhojpuri, Assamese, and Kashmiri.

Career

Acting career

Ajim began his acting career with the Bengali-language crime thriller Kaliachak: Chapter 1 (2024), directed by Ratool Mukherjee. The film was inspired by incidents connected to Kaliachak in Malda district and marked his entry into regional cinema.[4]

In the same year, he appeared in the action-drama film Khadaan (2024), where he portrayed the role of “Resad”.[5]

Following his debut projects, Ajim became associated with several upcoming Indian film productions listed across entertainment databases and movie portals. Alongside acting, Ajim is active in digital business ventures and startup-oriented projects. In September 2023, he began developing the foundation of Tronexa, which was officially structured as Tronexa Industries Limited in December 2023.
