In December 2025, Strummer began teasing the single on Instagram and TikTok, with promo reels and a post [1] announcing the context. The lyrics examine how blocking, rewriting memories, and calling distance “healing” to avoid responsibility can feel easier than the truth, especially post-breakup. The recurring image of a picture frame represents trying to erase proof of something real.
