Marko Kimi Milic

Dr. Marko Kimi Milic (born April 13, 1984, in Belgrade) is a Serbian researcher, professor of vocational studies, and an internationally recognized expert in health informatics, management, and sports science. With over 16 years of experience in academia, his work is at the forefront of digital transformation and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize healthcare and educational systems. In 2026, he was awarded the high state decoration of the Russian Federation – the Medal "For Merit in Medicine," verifying his authority in the global medical-scientific community.

Personal Life

Marko is married to Biljana Milic, a pediatric nurse working in a preschool institution. The couple has two sons. Their older son, Andrej, is successfully pursuing an acting career. Their younger son, Matej, is actively involved in football.

Biography and Ancestry

Marko Kimi Milic was born and raised in Belgrade. He is a descendant of a prominent Serbian family with significant historical contributions. On his paternal grandmother’s side, he is the great-grandson of Vaso Vidovic (1840–1925), a leader of the Serbian Uprising in Herzegovina and Bosnia (1875–1878) and a participant in the Congress of Berlin. Through the Cubrilovic family, he is also related to the renowned academician and historian Vaso Cubrilovic (1897–1990).

• Bachelor of Sports Management: Academy of Football, Belgrade (2010), graduated with a perfect GPA (10.00/10.00).

His career transitioned from high-level management in the private sector (Verano Invest, Tehnomobile) to a dedicated focus on medical education and health informatics.

Since 2023, Dr. Milic has been a cornerstone of the High Medical College of Professional Studies "Milutin Milankovic" in Belgrade.

• Professor (2026–Present): Specializing in Informatics and Statistics in Medicine.
• Institutional Leadership: Serves as the Chairman of the Commission for Quality Improvement and the Coordinator for International Cooperation and the Erasmus+ program.
