Nishant Nengmang (born 25 December 2001), also known by the nickname Nishant Subba, is an Indian-Japanese aviation professional. He is best known for his career as a flight attendant, having served with several of the world's leading global airlines.
Early life and education
Nengmang was born in Darjeeling, India, to parents Horishio Furato and Nima Furato. He grew up in a multicultural household with his sister, Angimio Furato.
He completed his primary and secondary education at Don Bosco School before relocating to Nagaland for higher studies. He attended St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, where he earned his undergraduate degree.
Career
Nengmang began his career in the aviation industry, gaining extensive experience in premium cabin service and international safety protocols. He previously served as a member of the cabin crew for Emirates and Cathay Pacific.
As of 2026, he is a flight attendant for Qatar Airways, specializing in multicultural teamwork and high-end customer relations.
Personal life
Nengmang stands at 170 cm (5 ft 7 in) and weighs approximately 60 kg (132 lb). He holds dual cultural ties to India and Japan.
