About the Championship

The Iron Thigh: Thigh Kick Championship is a International martial arts tournament and combat sports brand focused exclusively on the **thigh kick**, one of the most powerful and damaging strikes in combat sports.

The championship was **founded by Shyaranga Nirmaal** and **branded by Malshan Fonseka**, who is recognized as the *brain behind the brand*. The inaugural edition of the tournament is scheduled for **September 27, 2025**, in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Overview

Unlike traditional MMA or kickboxing promotions, the Iron Thigh Championship introduces a **specialized rule set** that highlights the use of the thigh kick as the primary striking technique. The event is designed to showcase strength, strategy, and endurance while giving fighters and fans a unique combat sports experience.
