EARLY LIFE
My name is Olagundoye Precious. I’m 19 years old and I’m the fourth born in my family. I grew up in Ondo State, but right now I live and school in Osun State where I’m studying Health Sciences. Life has not been very easy for me. When I was 17, I lost my dad, and that day everything changed. Since then, it’s just my mum, my siblings, and me holding ourselves together. My mum is the strongest woman I know; she wakes up every day and keeps pushing for all of us, and I just want to make her proud.
CAREER
People say I have a yellow complexion that shines when I smile, and I like to smile a lot because it keeps me going. I don’t like staying idle; I always want to be doing something—reading, helping someone with school work, thinking of small ways to make extra money, or planning how tomorrow will be better than today. School is tough, but I love what I’m studying because one day I want to help people stay healthy and save lives the way I wish someone could have saved my dad.
I’m not perfect, but I’m by trying every day to be a better son, brother, sister student, father, mother. This is my story, and I’m still writing it.
