Arfin Rahad (born 20 February 2002) is a Bangladeshi social entrepreneur, cybersecurity expert, writer, and youth leader. He is most recognized for founding the Jubo Tarunno Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth, promoting digital literacy, and fostering sustainable community development in the coastal regions of Tazumuddin, Bhola. Through his leadership, Rahad has made significant strides in advancing youth engagement in social issues and raising awareness about cybersecurity, both in local communities and on international platforms.

Early Life and Education

Arfin Rahad was born in Tazumuddin Upazila, Bhola District, Bangladesh. From a young age, he showed a strong interest in social welfare and community development. He began his formal education at Chadpur Government High School, where he demonstrated academic excellence alongside active participation in extracurricular activities, particularly those focused on social issues.

After completing his secondary education, Rahad pursued a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Dhaka Polytechnic Institute, gaining technical expertise that later influenced his approach to social innovation. He then attended Tazumuddin Government College for his higher secondary and undergraduate studies, where he continued to engage in youth leadership and community initiatives.

To further enhance his knowledge in social impact and development, Rahad enrolled at ASA University Bangladesh, where he studied social entrepreneurship, leadership, and sustainable development. His academic experiences across these institutions laid the foundation for his future work in youth empowerment and grassroots activism.

Career

In 2023, Rahad founded the Jubo Tarunno Foundation, a grassroots youth-based organization aimed at addressing social inequality, educational challenges, and disaster resilience in the coastal belt of Bhola.

He also received formal training and support from the Department of Youth Development (DYD) and the Sobar Sheba Department, which helped strengthen his leadership and community service skills.
