ThinkUp
ThinkUp Ltd. (branded as ThinkUp) is an Israeli technology company and digital accelerator founded in 2020 and headquartered in Herzliya, Israel. The company specializes in AI-powered software and digital tools designed to assist early-stage founders in validating tech business ideas, structuring startup frameworks, performing market research, and preparing for fundraising. ThinkUp operates both in Israel and internationally through its U.S. subsidiary, ThinkUp, Inc., and serves founders primarily in the United States and Europe.
History
ThinkUp was founded in 2020 in Tel Aviv by entrepreneur Ohad Shaked,[1] who had previously founded ThinkZ and operated a family office investing in early-stage ventures. In 2023, the company opened the TLV Innovation Hub to provide a collaborative space for founders and early-stage startups. The platform's minimum viable product (MVP) was launched in April 2024, marking the beginning of ThinkUp’s public operations.[2][3]
In 2025, ThinkUp expanded internationally by establishing a U.S. subsidiary, ThinkUp, Inc., to better serve North American users. During the same year, the company formed its first acceleration program partnerships, including collaborations with HackAutism and 18X, and expanded into European markets. To support this growth, ThinkUp also undertook leadership and managerial restructuring to enhance operational efficiency and international expansion strategies.[4][5]
Products and Services
The core product of the company is the ThinkUp platform, an AI-driven, all-in-one SaaS workspace that combines structured guidance, proprietary evaluation frameworks, and integrations with major large language models. The platform assists founders with idea and problem validation, customer discovery, competitive analysis, go-to-market strategy development, and pitch deck generation. Proprietary scoring algorithms quantify opportunity, differentiation, and risk, helping first-time founders adopt a repeatable, data-driven approach to progressing from concept to fundable startup.
ThinkUp provides tailored workflows for individual founders, including tools for market research, structured interviews, competitor benchmarking, and strategic planning. By integrating advanced AI analytics and natural language processing (NLP), the platform generates actionable insights and recommendations based on user inputs and third-party market data.
Technology
The platform relies on AI technologies including large language models (LLMs), NLP, and proprietary scoring algorithms. These technologies allow the platform to convert qualitative founder inputs into quantitative signals, which inform market assessments, risk evaluations, and personalized recommendations. ThinkUp’s methodology emphasizes combining human guidance with data-driven analytics to maximize the success potential of early-stage startups.[6][7]
Business Model
ThinkUp operates on a subscription-based business model, offering three primary plans-Dreamer, Founder, and Builder-with monthly pricing tiers ranging from $29 to $69. Revenue is derived from recurring subscription fees, while the company currently manages an internal Investment Committee to evaluate potential investment opportunities. Expansion of engagement with external investors and funding networks is planned for future development.[8]
Markets and Users
The platform primarily serves software-based startups, though it is generally sector-agnostic. ThinkUp targets first-time founders and early-stage entrepreneurs seeking structured guidance, market evaluation tools, and mentorship to transform startup ideas into fundable ventures. As of the latest internal data, over 5,000 users have utilized the platform to develop startup concepts.[9]
Partnerships and Programs
ThinkUp maintains partnerships with accelerators, incubators, educational institutions, and industry networks. Notable collaborators include Park Rangers Capital, 1991 Accelerator, Cornell Tech, Le Wagon, Porto Business Network (PBN), 18x Elite Impact, Venture Café, Startup Lithuania, YEP!
