Gregory Glenn Daugherty (Born 10 July 1967, Mineola, New York ) is an American writer. He is the author of the Lost Souls series.[1][2]

Early life and education

Born and raised in Mineola, New York, Daughtery moved with his family in 1974 to Columbus, Ohio, where he later graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School in 1985. He graduated from Xavier University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing in 1989 and completed his master’s in criminal justice from the same institute in 1996.[2]

Career

During his master’s program, Daugherty worked with the Hamilton County Juvenile Court in Cincinnati, Ohio.

           Author

Daugherty is the author of The House on Haunted Hill, published in October 2024, which is the first installment in the Lost Souls series. As of 2025, two additional titles in the series—The Mystery of the Dent Schoolhouse and Satan’s Hollow—are in progress or scheduled for publication.[2][3][4]

Personal life

Daughtery married his wife, Carol L. Zang, in September 1996, and the couple has three children: Brittany Nicole Daugherty, Evan Michael Daugherty, and Kyle Joseph Daugherty. As of 2025, he and his wife reside in Cincinnati, Ohio, and are expecting their first grandchild on 9 February.[2]
