Biography

Zaid Ahmed, also known professionally as SDJZAID, He was born and raised in RT Nagar, Bangalore. From a young age, he displayed a strong passion for music, rhythm, and technology. His childhood was filled with experimentation—from dismantling electronics to remixing Bollywood tracks on basic software. Raised in a modest family, Zaid found his creative spark early, playing dholak at local functions and school events before stepping into digital DJing and production.

He completed his formal education through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and later pursued a diploma in Computer Engineering, blending his love for music with technical expertise.

Career

Zaid's professional journey began at the age of 14 as a live performer on dholak. After gaining local recognition, he shifted toward DJing and production, where he found greater freedom and creative control. In 2023, he officially launched SDJZAID PRODUCTION, his multimedia startup that handles music remixing, audio mastering, video editing, and web design services.

Under the alias SDJZAID, he has produced over 100+ remixes and composed 40+ original tracks, gaining fans not just in Bangalore but across India through digital platforms like SoundCloud and Instagram.

He has performed at various public and private events, including tech fests, college shows, and wedding parties. His DJ style combines desi bass drops with commercial Bollywood beats, EDM buildups, and indie synth textures—creating a sound that resonates with the youth and club audience alike.

His goal is to tour India, open his own academy, collaborate with record labels, and create a global desi EDM identity for young Indian artists.

Personal Life

Outside music, Zaid enjoys photography, cricket, and learning new software tools. He's self-taught in many fields and believes in hustling quietly and letting work speak.

Despite being young, he carries the spirit of a seasoned artist and entrepreneur, with fans recognizing him for his humility, creativity, and commitment to growth.
