Niyamat Ullah Al Amin (Bengali: নিয়ামত উল্লাহ আল আমিন; born 28 November 2004), also known as Mohammad Al Amin, is a Bangladeshi writer, editor, entrepreneur, and technologist.[1] He is known for his editorial work on contemporary literary and philosophical anthologies, technological initiatives in publishing, and contributions to social reform.

Early life and education

Al Amin was born in Sonaimuri, Noakhali, and grew up in Chattogram. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in writing and started his literary journey as a hobby. His educational journey began in 2010 at Makilla Government Primary School. He later transferred to a madrasa in Chattogram, where he repeated class one and two, putting him two years behind his peers. He completed his Alim degree from Darul Uloom Kamil Madrasa.[2]

Career

Al Amin has a diverse professional background. He has worked as a Sales Representative at Gmit Elite Corporation and briefly as a Computer Operator at Azm Stationery & Library. Alongside friends, he started a book business called Ummah Boighar, which is currently inactive.

Literature and editing

He is active in fiction, essays, and poetry. Notable stories and essays include Biplobir Boyosh Lage Na, Awami Jahiliyat-er Paton, School-Madrasa Study vs Coaching & Private Tuition, Robot Dweep, and Nastikotar Mul Dabi: Srostha Nei. His poetry includes Swairachar-er Paton, Amar Porichoy, Gupto Alap, Arekti Bijoy, Allama Saeedi, Eid-er Porei Porikkha, Agun Jwale, and Onuprerona.

As an editor, he has worked on important publications such as Mritto Janalar Opashe[3] and The God Debate: Faith vs Reason[4]. He has contributed to various joint publications and received recognition from Sajatar Publications and Ichhashokti Publications.

He also serves as Co-Director of Tukitaki Sahitya Parishad, where he publishes joint works, organizes literary events, and builds networks for writers and publishers.

Technology and media

In technology, he developed the Android WebView app Lekhok for his website lekhok.top and previously ran Lekhok Media. He is also active in social media marketing.

Personal life and beliefs

Al Amin combines expertise in literature, technology, and publishing. He is guided by Islamic values and social justice and is politically associated with the Islamic movement BICS. Growing up in a literary environment shaped his writing and editorial work, reflecting dedication to literature, social reform, and innovative initiatives.
