Eterno, pseudonym of Ferenc Venturelli( December 20, 2006), is an Italian political activist and a member of the Lega .

Political Positions and Ideas

Abortion

He has publicly expressed his opposition to abortion, stating that he considers it a form of homicide. His remarks have sparked debate, becoming part of the broader ethical and social discussions on the issue of voluntary termination of pregnancy.

Support for the Death Penalty

He has also voiced support for the death penalty, presenting it as a form of justice. These statements have likewise contributed to the controversy surrounding his positions.

Israeli–Palestinian Conflict

Eterno argues that Palestine does not constitute a fully recognized and legitimate state at the international level. In his view, Israel acted in a justified manner following the events of 7 October 2023, interpreting them as a reaction to a condition of oppression.

Regarding Hamas, he claims that the terrorist movement uses civilians, including children, as human shields and propaganda tools, accusing it of being the main party responsible for civilian casualties.

He also believes that the historical responsibility for the conflict lies with Palestine, due to its refusal of the agreements proposed by the United Nations.

Russia–Ukraine War

Ferenc assigns primary responsibility for the war in Ukraine to the Ukrainian government. According to his statements, Kyiv adopted political and diplomatic choices that contributed to the escalation of the conflict with the Russian Federation.

Interpersonal Relations and Family Model

Ferenc has repeatedly expressed his views on the family, asserting that, in his opinion, it should be understood in a traditional sense. He has also stated that he does not consider homosexual relationships, particularly those between men, as part of “normality.” These positions have drawn criticism from civil rights and LGBT advocates, who have considered them discriminatory.

National Identity and Patriotism

He organized a demonstration together with Frank Mascia and Azzurra Barbuto in support of Italy, claiming that the only flag that should fly in Italy is the Italian one. He stated that the Palestinian flag has become tiresome, adding that he would never wave the flag of terrorists such as Hamas.
