Daniel Saunders
I was born on May 1st, 2003, and am 22 years old. I have a twin brother, Nicholas Saunders, and we are originally from Yartsevo, Russia. Growing up, athletics—especially ice hockey—played a major role in my life. I competed at a high level, winning multiple championships and earning numerous awards, which helped instill discipline, resilience, and a strong team-first mindset. Alongside athletics, I was recognized with several academic awards throughout my schooling.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in English at Boston University, with an expected graduation in May 2026. I am actively involved in the BU Finance & Investing Club as an Investment Associate in the Real Estate sector, where I work on valuation models, including discounted cash flow analyses, comparable company analyses, and precedent transaction analyses, contributing to a student-managed fund totaling $1.2 million.
My academic work includes empirical economic research using STATA, where I have analyzed labor market data, conducted regression analysis, and presented findings directly to company executives. Professionally, I have experience in retail and commercial banking through roles at TD Bank and Enterprise Bank, developing strong skills in financial services, customer relations, and compliance.
In addition, I am the founder and owner of TwinBreak 2.0, a memorabilia platform for collectors and investors, which I have grown both online and in person while maintaining strong profitability. Across academics, athletics, and business, I bring a competitive mindset, analytical thinking, and a strong work ethic shaped by years of balancing high-level hockey with academic and professional commitments.
