Career

Bartending Roots and Passion for Nightlife

Scharg began his professional journey during college, working as a bartender. This experience sparked his enthusiasm for hospitality and entertainment, particularly in creating platforms for local musical talent. He frequently organized live shows featuring rock, hip-hop, and EDM, nurturing a love for event production that laid the groundwork for his entrepreneurial direction.

Founding 27 Bar & Lounge

In 2014, fresh out of college, Tayler purchased a warehouse property in Fort Lauderdale’s underdeveloped FAT Village. Despite facing challenges with permits and city regulations, he remained committed to converting the space into a nightlife hub. His efforts paid off when the location received the first hard liquor license in the district.

By 2017, Tayler Scharg and his childhood friend Cory Blank launched 27 Bar & Lounge, an innovative venue inspired by the legendary "27 Club" - a tribute to iconic artists who passed at the age of 27. The venue was noted for its immersive ambiance, from murals and artistic installations to curated cocktails and themed music nights. Located in the now-thriving Flagler Village, 27 helped cement the district’s reputation as Fort Lauderdale’s emerging cultural core.

Expanding with GTO and Rose Nightclub

Building on the momentum of 27, Scharg went on to launch two additional venues: The Good Times Only Speakeasy and Rose Nightclub. Each concept was distinct in atmosphere - one evoking a vintage prohibition aesthetic, the other offering a high-end, modern club experience. Despite their differences, both spaces reflected Scharg’s signature attention to detail and passion for immersive design.

Establishing TS Hospitality

Through these ventures, Scharg formalized his hospitality business under the brand TS Hospitality, curating events across fashion, entertainment, and nightlife. Known for a people-centric, high-touch approach, his venues are regarded for delivering not just events but lasting experiences.

His understanding of artist psychology helps ensure each catalog narrative aligns with both emotional and financial goals.
