Durga Madiraju
Early Life
Durga Madiraju (born November 17, 1968), who writes under the pen name Jane Summers, is an Indian-born American software engineer, author, poet, and creator of the constructed language Durvue.
With more than 20 years of experience in enterprise software development, she has worked across telecommunications, finance, healthcare, insurance, and retail sectors. She spent twelve years at AT&T (2006–2018) and held senior engineering roles at companies including Bank of America, LexisNexis, Cultura Technologies, Integrity Health Resources, and others. Her technical expertise includes ASP.NET, C#, MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and cloud technologies.
Under the pen name Jane Summers, she is the author of the popular Woods Poetry Classics series, which includes titles such as Seasonal Woods, Summer Woods, Autumn Woods, Winter Woods, Springtime Woods, and several additional volumes. She has also published the short story collection An Artsy Life and the Scrum Art Handbook. In addition, she composes and records piano music and songs under the album title Summer’s Way.
In 2023, Madiraju introduced Durvue, a new constructed language. The Durvue New Language Dictionary was published on January 10, 2023. It contains alphabets, numbers, vocabulary, seasons, days of the week, original prayers (including the 110-nama Anikaovue), songs, and English translations. The language is designed for daily practice and festival use to promote peace and harmony.
Career
She began her career in the late 1990s and has contributed to large-scale enterprise systems in multiple industries. She is the founder of Jane Summers Poetry Classics, LLC, registered in the state of Georgia.
Education
Durga Madiraju holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from California Southern University (2023), an MBA in Accounting Information Systems and an MS in Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University, and an MA in Economics from the University of Hyderabad. She also holds numerous professional certifications, including Certified Scrum Master, Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Certification, and executive programs from Cornell University, MIT, and Columbia Engineering.

Durga Madiraju has received multiple recognitions, including Marquis Who’s Who awards, the AT&T Technology Award, and the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (Bronze).
Personal Life
Durga Madiraju is married to Srinivas Madiraju. She is the daughter of Dr. Chinta Chidananda Rao (retired Chief Medical Officer, South Central Railway) and Chinta Visalakshi. She has four sisters and one brother. She practices Hinduism and enjoys painting, jewelry design, cooking, and playing the piano. She has one daughter.
