Klara Landrat is an American actress, model, writer, producer, and photographer, known for her international work in film, television, fashion, and visual art. She is a lifetime New Yorker raised across Africa. Landrat is known for her multilingual abilities and cross-cultural storytelling in both performing arts and photography.
Early life and education
Klara Landrat was born to a diplomat family. She grew up in multiple countries, including Libya, Tunisia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Israel. She speaks multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, Hebrew, Spanish, Ancient Greek, Latin, Russian, and Yiddish.
Landrat earned a B.A. in the Arts from Hunter College, City University of New York. During her studies, she became a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and the USA Honor Society. [1]
Career
Film and television
Landrat has appeared in numerous international productions. She played Kennedy in the Israeli TV series Late Night Stories, directed by Ofir Award-winning director Michael Behagen. [2]
She stars as Azariah, a warrior goddess, in the upcoming epic film saga Realm of the Waterfall, The Ice Chronicles, and Chronicles of Aikorene, produced by Ascendent Studios. The films are set to be shot in over 80 countries and feature an ensemble cast including Nathan Jones, Sybil Danning, and Obba Babatundé. [3]
Landrat also collaborated with Sara, Duchess of York, on the children’s reading series Fergie & Friends. [4]
Modeling and photography
Landrat has modeled for various fashion campaigns and editorials. She appeared on the cover of Cool America Magazine (March 2025), in a photoshoot shot at the Dead Sea. [5]
She is also an accomplished photographer, known for creating visual poetry through her imagery. Landrat develops and prints her own photographs, often exploring themes of Butoh, movement, and metaphysical expression. [6]
Producing and writing
Landrat serves as a co-producer at Legendary Film Productions, an international film and television production company. [7]
She is currently developing the feature film The Book , a historical thriller inspired by the writings of Renaissance scientist, and exploring the misuse of scientific knowledge in Nazi Germany.
Landrat is also writing Daughters of Ice and Fire, a feature script set in Viking-age Iceland, focusing on Norse mythology and themes of loyalty, vengeance, and sacrifice.
Personal life
Landrat is a Libra and her favorite color is blue. She is based between Europe, Middle East and the United States, and continues to promote multicultural storytelling and educational initiatives within the film and photography industries.
