Md. Naeem Aziz (born 10 December 1998) is a Bangladeshi author, poet, engineer, and photographer. He is known for his poetry and fiction as well as contributions to literary education. His poem Rule over Ashes (2024) was included in an Italian upper secondary school English literature textbook published by Sanoma Italia.[1][2][3]

Early Life and Education

Md. Naeem Aziz was born in Dhamrai, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science and Engineering.[4]

Career

Aziz writes poetry and fiction and has contributed to newspapers and magazines in Bangladesh.[5] His work often explores social, political, and human themes.

In July 2024, he wrote the poem Rule over Ashes, inspired by the July 2024 protests in Bangladesh. The poem later gained international attention after being included in an Italian upper secondary school English literature textbook.[6][7][8]

Alongside literature, Aziz works in computer science, teaching, and research, bridging technology and creative arts.
