Md Saddam Hossain Roni
Md Saddam Hossain Roni (born May 7, 1994) is a Bangladeshi social activist, youth leader, and entrepreneur best known as the founder of Talk Hope, a national suicide prevention and mental health awareness initiative, and SHADOW (Society for Humanity And Development Over the World), a youth-led non-profit organization.
Early Life and Education
Md Saddam Hossain Roni was born in Cumilla, Bangladesh. He completed his SSC from Comilla Modern High School and HSC from Comilla Govt. College. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).
Career
Md Saddam Hossain Roni is the Managing Director of SHADOW Engineering Solutions Ltd. & CEO of SHADOW IT and the Brand Development Officer at Sthapona Architectural Consultants Ltd. He also serves as the Management Head of SHADOW Communications. Through his ventures, he aims to combine technology, creativity, and activism to drive youth empowerment and social development.
Talk Hope
Talk Hope is a flagship project founded by Md Saddam Hossain Roni to combat suicide and mental health stigma in Bangladesh. The initiative offers free psychological support via online platforms, social media, and offline workshops. It has impacted thousands of youths and continues to expand its volunteer and counselor base.

Roni has served in numerous leadership roles in Rotary International including:
- President, Rotaract Club of Dhaka Orchid (Charter President, 2015–16)
- District Rotaract Chief Trainer, District 3281
- Founder & Chief Adviser, Rotary Interact Alumni Association of South Asia (RIAASA)
- Former Member of District Community Service, Peace Fellowship, Interact, and Rheumatic Care Committees (Rotary District 3281)
He was also the first District Interact Representative of District 3282 and a certified Council on Legislation Representative (2022–2025).

Personal Life
Md Saddam Hossain Roni was born into the respected Bhuiyan family of Feni District. His father, Md Khorshed Alam Bhuiyan, is a retired police officer, and his mother, Saleha Akter, is a homemaker. He has one elder brother, an architect, and one elder sister with an MBA.
