Biography
Priungshu Roy Chowdhury was born on December 11, 2006, and raised in Chattogram, the commercial capital of Bangladesh.
He achieved the extraordinary feat of learning to sing the national anthems of 120 countries in their respective native languages. This challenging endeavor was driven by his deep enthusiasm for representing his country on the global stage.
Education
Priungshu Roy Chowdhury's formal education began at Brother Flavian Kindergarten School. He subsequently attended St. Placid's School and College, where he completed Grades 1 through 4. Following this, he successfully appeared for the Government School admission test and secured a place at Chattogram Government High School. He completed his secondary education there, passing the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSC) with GPA 5. He was later admitted to Bakalia Government College, where he passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC), also achieving GPA 5.
Notable Achievements
Priungshu Roy Chowdhury's most distinguished achievement is the remarkable feat of mastering and singing the national anthems of 120 countries in their native languages. This extraordinary undertaking began during the COVID-19 pandemic, inspired by the tradition of national anthems being sung before cricket matches. Over the course of approximately eight months, he dedicated 45 minutes daily to this meticulous process, demonstrating immense patience and perseverance. He noted that the sheer volume and linguistic diversity made the overall accomplishment challenging. His unique talent has not only garnered local attention but also international recognition, leading to him being titled a "Grand Master" by the Asia Book of Records (as of August 2023). In addition to his vocal and linguistic skills, he is also an enthusiast of music, being skilled in playing the tablas, Guitar, Ukulele and has long-term academic ambitions to become a researcher.
