Shubhankar Basak
Shubhankar Basak (born April 20, 2006) is an Indian Computer Science student at Assam University and an aspiring Web Developer. Based in the Karimganj district of Assam, Shubhankar is known for his self-taught approach to modern Web technologies and his focus on building a professional digital presence as Shubhankar Basak.
Early life and inspiration
Shubhankar Basak was born in Sribhumi (Karimganj) district of Assam. His interest in technology was sparked following the completion of his Higher Secondary (Class-12) examinations. While using various websites for personal tasks, Shubhankar became curious about the underlying architecture of the internet, questioning how websites were created and how they functioned.
Rather than viewing the post-examination break as a period of rest, he decided to utilize the time to acquire a new technical skill. This curiosity led him to explore Web Development as a way to create tools that could eventually help others.
Education
Shubhankar Basak is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) at Assam University in Silchar. He chose the institution due to its proximity to his hometown of Karimganj and its reputation in the region.
While his academic curriculum provides a foundation in computer science, Shubhankar is a dedicated self-learner. He has utilized digital platforms, specifically YouTube and open-source documentation, to master frontend and backend development.
